Privacy & Discretion

We have a private consultation room available to provide you with a discreet space to consult with a pharmacist about your personal health matters. If you are not able to come in and see us please give us a call.

A pharmacist is always on hand to assist all of our customers with their discreet health matters. Just "ask to speak to a Pharmacist" and you won’t have to have your private conversations in any main service area of our pharmacy.

If our pharmacy is not able to assist you directly, we will be able to refer you to another health professional to ensure you get the assistance you need.

Prescription Services

Ask your medical centre to send us your prescription directly or come in and see us and we will take care of the rest.

We offer the following prescription services. Including but not limited to: 

  • Filing and delivering of prescriptions
  • Free delivery in the Ashburton district
  • Repeat prescriptions
  • New prescriptions
  • Individual medicines advice
  • All new customers welcome

Prescription Payments

Eastfield Pharmacy offers flexible payment solutions to cover government prescription fees. This helps our customers lessen the stress and make the costs of uninterrupted medication more manageable. 

Don’t go without or wait for a prescription to be filled when times are tough, come and talk to us.

Child Friendly and Plenty of Parking

If you have not visited us before it is so easy to do so. There is plenty of free parking, 2 easy-access entrances with space for prams and wheelchairs.

We also provide an activity area to keep your little ones entertained so you can have a conversation with us.

Men’s Health Services

We offer a number of men’s health services including but not limited to:

  • Over the counter medication
  • Personal health advice
  • Erectile dysfunction - Our Pharmacist may be able to assist men between the ages of 35 to 70 years if there are no other health matters that need a referral to a Doctor. Absolute discretion and confidentiality assured.
  • Smoking cessation - We have DHB funded Nicotine Replacement Therapy available in lozenges, gum or patches to help you give up smoking.
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Consultation and referrals

Women’s Health Services

We offer a number of women’s health services for all ages with a safe and confidential space for students, teens and adults alike. We guarantee absolute discretion and confidentiality for all. Our services include but not limited to:

  • Over the counter medication
  • Personal health advice
  • Emergency contraception - Unprotected sex within the last 72 hours? We will be able to help you. Absolute discretion and confidentiality assured.
  • Confidential contraception and health advice for all students and teens
  • Urinary tract infections - If appropriate may be able to offer a short course of antibiotic (trimethoprim) for women from 16 to 65 years of age.
  • Selected oral contraceptives - We can offer both the Combined Oral Contraceptive for women 16 to 39 years of age and Progesterone only contraception for women 16 to 52 years of age. Must have been seen by a doctor within the last three years.
